Walkthrough

  1. Start the distraction

    Michael starts a fake robbery on the depository's ground floor to pull attention away from the vault.

  2. Drill into the vault

    Franklin operates the Cutter to cut through the vault wall.

  3. Plant the charges

    Franklin plants sticky bombs on the vault gates and blows them.

  4. Hold the vault

    Fight off SWAT and NOOSE units pushing into the vault area.

  5. Fight to the garage

    Michael fights through downtown Los Santos to reach the upgraded getaway car.

  6. Load the gold

    Get the gold container attached to Trevor's helicopter.

  7. Fly the gold out

    Trevor pilots the helicopter carrying the gold, with Lester on comms and rockets covering against Merryweather's Buzzards.

    Warning Enough helicopter damage costs the gold container outright. Breaking line of sight from the Buzzards instead of trading fire head-on keeps it in the air.

  8. Drop the gold onto the train

    Line up over the moving freight train and drop the container.

    Warning Cha-Ching needs the gold dropped onto the train within 30 seconds of the prompt. Getting positioned over the tracks before the window opens is the only way to make it in time.

  9. Land clear

    Set the helicopter down at McKenzie Field Hangar after the gold's away.

Gold medal requirements

  • Headshots

    Kill 20 enemies with headshots.

  • Mission Time

    Complete within 16:00.

  • Cha-Ching

    Drop the gold onto the train within 30 seconds.

  • Accuracy

    Finish with at least 60% shooting accuracy.
