Michael's kid Jimmy is stuck on a stolen yacht getting hauled up the highway, and it's on Michael and Franklin to run it down before it's gone for good.

Walkthrough

  1. Get moving

    Michael gets a call: Jimmy's in trouble out on the water. Grab Amanda's car and get going, Franklin riding along.

  2. Catch up to the yacht

    A truck's dragging Michael's yacht up the highway with Jimmy trapped on deck. Close the gap before it disappears into traffic.

  3. Get Franklin aboard

    Pull the car up tight against the yacht so Franklin can jump across.

    Note Michael can take potshots at the guys on deck through the windshield while you close in — it softens things up before Franklin's even on board.

    Warning Don't hang back once Franklin's lined up to jump — he goes for it regardless of the gap, and a bad jump here means starting over.

  4. Deal with the guys on deck

    One goes down in a straight fight. The other one needs a bullet — Franklin can grab a weapon off the first guy if he's empty-handed.

  5. Get under the boom

    Jimmy gets snagged and swings out over the road hanging from the boom. Line the car up underneath him before he drops.

    Tip Quick Catch gives you about 10 seconds from the moment the boom swings out — get into position early, there's no time to hunt for the right spot once he's falling.

  6. Pull Franklin back in

    With Jimmy safe, swing back around so Franklin can climb into the car.

  7. Get the car looked at

    Head for Los Santos Customs and get the damage from the chase patched up.

  8. Drop the car home

    Drive back to Michael's — carefully. Not a Scratch covers this last stretch too, not just the chase itself.

    Warning This is where people actually lose Not a Scratch — the car's already fixed, so one clipped guardrail on the way home undoes the whole run.

Gold medal requirements

  • Quick Catch

    Catch Jimmy within 10 seconds of the boom swinging out.

  • Not a Scratch

    Deliver Amanda's car back without any damage.

Watch out for

  • Franklin jumps for the yacht the second he's able, ready or not — get right up against it first or he comes up short.
  • Ten seconds is all Quick Catch gives you once the boom swings out. Line up early, there's no recovering from a late start.
  • Not a Scratch tracks the whole drive home from Customs, not just the highway chase — baby the car on that last stretch.
